Zig’s Marine specialises in custom fit outs to suit the desire of any boat owner. Whether your priorities are economising or building your ultimate dream boat, Zig’s Marine can design a fit out to suit racing, skiing, fishing or cruising.

If you have a brand new hull or you’d like to rebirth an older boat we’ll work closely with you fulfill your exact needs and ensure the end result satisfies your esthetic, performance, comfort and economic aspirations.

As the boat owner you have the opportunity to be as involved in the fit out process as you feel comfortable. We are happy for you to provide input in any area and equally happy for you to leave the entire design to us.

All custom fit outs begin with a one on one consultation to exact the positioning of your gauges, switches and ballast dumps etc. ensuring your custom fit out is completely individualised to your requirements.

We import quality Rex Marine billet aluminium fittings directly from the USA in a range of colours.

Race Rigging

Zig’s Marine’s experience in racing holds many records across different engine classes. With a passion for competition and racing Zig’s Marine has the experience to ensure your racing setup offers the most in performance while catering to your specific racing requirements.

Your first-class racing set up requires careful consideration across many areas. At Zig’s Marine, meticulous consideration is given to weight displacement and boat balance, engine height, steering options, jacking plate choice and propeller selection.

Both Outrigger Cable and Outrigger Hydraulic Steering set ups are supported by custom designed, polished stainless steel fabricated steering bars.

Detweiler Jacking Plates are imported directly from the USA. Manual and Hydraulic versions are available and will be fitted with careful consideration to your style of racing to ensure the ultimate in performance from your engine.

We offer improvements to hydrodynamic design of gear cases, enhancing both boat speed and drivability. We’ll supply and fit the necessary nose cone for any boat which will travel in excess of 80mph.
